The gears of the four series of hard tooth surface reducers are made of high-strength low-carbon alloy carburizing and quenching, with high tooth surface hardness, high gear accuracy, high transmission efficiency, compact structure, good sealing effect, no oil leakage, small volume, light weight, and the center distance, center height, and transmission ratio all adopt priority numbers in the priority number system. Gear parameters and structure have been optimized and designed by computer; High wear resistance coefficient, due to the external installation of the motor, maintenance is more time-saving, and in case of unexpected motor failure, disassembly and inspection are convenient and fast.
Selection of four series of hard tooth surface reducers: the diameter of the transmission drum is φ 500, the output shaft speed of the motor is 960r/min, the original drum motor is 5.5kw, considering the increasing production load year by year, the motor is selected as 7.5kw, and the speed ratio calculation is π × D × 960/60=25.1m/s, 25.1/1.6=16.
Choose a gearbox with a speed ratio of I=16. On the premise of meeting usage requirements, select a matching steel coupling to connect the motor, reducer, and mechanical drum, gradually replacing the original electric drum. We have selected a reducer produced by a domestic brand reducer factory for processing complete sets of mechanical rollers, reducers, and couplings.
Pre fabricate the reducer base and embed bolts in advance during installation, install the roller end and reducer end couplings in place, arrange maintenance of the motor, add lubricating oil to the reducer housing, make the installation foundation, and use 10 # channel steel for vertical layout. After the frame is welded and formed, fix the reducer with bolts on top. The motor and reducer high-speed shaft are connected with nylon column pins, and the belt conveyor roller and reducer are connected with a cross slide coupling. The transformation will be completed in 8 hours. At the same time, update the relay contactor to match it. The installation foundation of the reducer must be firm, reliable, and stable. In special occasions, consider the selection of lubricating oil. The input axis and output axis of the reducer should be coaxial with the axis of the connecting part, and the error should not exceed the allowable value of the coupling.
Because the slope of the conveyor is not large, we have chosen four series of hard tooth surface reducers that can rotate forward and backward without backstops. The rotating shaft and coupling are equipped with suitable protective covers. After installation, before putting into operation, manually turn the drive drum to rotate flexibly without any jamming. Run the gearbox without load again, connect the conveyor belt and run it for 10 hours after 2 hours of running in. After a week of lime transportation operation, the effect was very good, achieving the optimal output rate and stable output speed of the device. This improvement method is simple, safe and reliable, and the equipment operation rate has been increased.
