What issues should be paid attention to during the selection process of gear reducer?
In the process of selecting a reducer, it is common to encounter situations where the parameters provided by the user are limited, and you do not know which reducer and motor combination you should choose for them. Therefore, you can only list all possible options for the user to choose from. In the selection process of the motor for the reducer, the following parameters can be provided:
KF series reducer
Reduction ratio. The reduction ratio is an important parameter in the selection process of a gearbox. It determines the reduction ratio between the motor output speed and the gearbox output speed. If you want to reduce the speed by one-fifth or one tenth, you can choose based on the reduction ratio.
Output torque. This is a parameter determined based on the load requirements of the device, and the specific value of the torque demand is calculated using the conversion between formulas.
Motor power. This is a parameter related to providing power. If you don't know how much power the motor needs, you can submit the above two parameters to the technical personnel who choose for you. The power of the motor can be determined based on the reduction ratio and output torque of the reducer.
Speed demand. During the use of the gearbox, it is common to encounter users who have specific speed requirements, such as requiring an output of 32 revolutions per minute or 0.65 revolutions per minute. It is best to provide these hard requirements to the technical personnel involved in the selection process.
Requirements for installation dimensions. Some devices have strict requirements when selecting reducers or motors, so when choosing a reducer, if your space size is limited, you should also inform the selection personnel in advance.
The type of motor. Different usage environments have different requirements for motors, some require explosion-proof, some require variable frequency speed regulation, some require braking, and some require precise positioning. So you need to clarify with the selection technicians based on the specific needs of the usage environment.
