How to use cycloidal pinwheel reducer oil
Two types of oil are used in cycloidal pinwheel reducers, namely lubrication and oil lubrication.
1. The cycloidal pinwheel reducer is lubricated with grease, and the single-stage l~4 two-stage 42 cycloidal pinwheel reducer is lubricated with grease. (Recommended to use grease such as MoS2 or ZL-2 lithium based grease). To supplement grease, when the cycloidal pinwheel reducer is running, unscrew the ventilation cap of the needle gear housing and use a grease gun to press lubricating grease into the ventilation cap hole. The injection amount of lubricating grease is 1/3-1/2 of the internal volume of the cycloidal pinwheel reducer. It is not advisable to add too much grease to avoid generating stirring heat.
2. Oil lubrication of cycloidal pinwheel reducer
1) The cycloidal pinwheel reducer must be injected with lubricating oil before use. In order to facilitate loading, unloading, and transportation, lubricating oil is generally not injected into the reducer when it leaves the factory.
2) For general-purpose cycloidal pinwheel reducers, it is recommended to use N150 extreme pressure industrial gear oil at room temperature.
3) When the cycloidal pinwheel reducer operates in harsh working conditions, frequent starting and stopping, and high or low temperature environments, it is necessary to contact the manufacturer's technical department.
4) When adding lubricating oil, the oil level should be pressed at the center position of the oil gauge or indicator.
