It not only has all the advantages of the original electric drum, but also overcomes the poor heat dissipation conditions of the motor, easy to burn, and limited power consumption.

The external electric drum is a new type of electric drive device in which the motor is mounted on the outside of the drum body and the speed reduction mechanism is mounted inside the drum body. It not only has all the advantages of the original electric drum, but also overcomes the weakness of the motor, such as poor heat dissipation, easy burning, and limited power consumption. The power can reach 160kW or more.
The external type electric drum has three types of installation: l type, II type and III type, which can meet the installation requirements of different occasions. There are also three types of internal reduction transmission structures: fixed shaft gears, cycloidal pinwheels, and halo gears. The species has been carefully designed and used safely and reliably.
The supporting power adopts Y series standard motor. If YB series flameproof type motor is selected, it can be applied to the field of explosion-proof requirements. Therefore, various types of external electric drum can be used to generate explosion-proof type.
The external type electric drum used by our company (GB5014-85) HL type elastic pin type coupling: For the great work, in order to improve the starting performance, YO×Limited torque type coupler can be used instead of the coupling. Brakes can be installed with brake requirements. The brakes are equipped with Yw B-type electric hydraulic block brakes, and correspondingly equipped with the same type of coupling or coupling with brake wheels; The required backstop can be added.
The company can design motor brackets and brakes, couplings, hydraulic coupler shields, etc. for the user, the design is based on user requirements.
The external motor drum produced by our company has been widely used in large and medium-sized belt conveyors in various departments such as ports, mines, metallurgy and electric power, and has been well received by users.
