Selection method of reducer in different environments
The structural forms of the reducer include open type, protective type, closed type and explosion-proof type. In order to better develop its functions in the environment, the following is a detailed introduction to the selection methods of reducers in different environments:
① Open type, because the rotor and winding of the reducer are exposed to the air, they are easy to be eroded by drinking water, dust, iron filings, oil stains, etc., affecting the normal operation and service life of the CVT;
② For the protective type, the reducer can generally prevent water drops, iron filings and other external impurities from falling into the CVT, but can not prevent moisture and dust from invading;
③ Explosion proof type, which is made of explosion-proof type, increased safety type and positive pressure type on the basis of sealing structure, and is applicable to the working environment with explosion risk, such as mines, oil depots, gas stations and other places;
④ The closed type can prevent water drops or debris from any direction from invading the CVT, and damp air and dust are also not easy to invade, so it is suitable for damp, dusty and vulnerable to wind and rain erosion.
In addition, the reducer manufacturer also reminds you that you should select the appropriate reducer according to the specific situation. For the reducer used in hot and humid areas, high altitude areas and ships, you should also select the reducer with special protection requirements.
