What should be paid attention to before using planetary reducers
1. Do not hammer the planetary reducer before use
When installing coupling, pulley, sprocket, and other connecting parts on the output shaft of the planetary reducer, direct hammering cannot be used. As the output shaft structure of the planetary reducer cannot withstand axial hammering, screws can be screwed into the shaft end screw hole to press the connecting parts.
2. Before using the planetary reducer, it is necessary to install a ventilation cap (exhaust plug)
Before use, the blockage at the highest position should be replaced with an exhaust plug to ensure that the gas in the body is discharged during the operation of the reducer. If not replaced in a timely manner, the gearbox will run for a long time, causing the gas inside the gearbox to expand the oil seal and even cause the gearbox to leak oil.
3. Before using the planetary reducer, replace the lubricating oil in a timely manner, paying special attention to the first time
Special attention should be paid to the first oil change. The planetary reducer should be replaced with lubricating oil in a timely manner after the first 300-400 hours of operation, and every 1500-2000 hours thereafter. In addition, in harsh working environments, high temperatures, and dusty workplaces, the lubricating oil should be inspected every half month. If any dirt is found, the lubricating oil should be replaced to maintain cleanliness, extend the service life of the gearbox, and improve economic efficiency.
