Four series of gear reducers with hard tooth surfaces R17-5-3KW. Specific steps for replacing lubricating oil in gear reducers
The following are the specific steps for replacing the lubricating oil of R17 gearbox:preparation
Stop the machine and cut off the power supply: Ensure that the gearbox is in a stopped state and cut off the relevant power supply to avoid accidental start-up during operation.
Prepare tools and materials: Prepare suitable wrenches, oil drums, funnels, filters, clean cloths, and lubricating oil that meets the requirements of R17 gearbox.
Drain the oil
Find the oil drain plug: Find the oil drain plug at the bottom of the gearbox, usually located at the lowest point of the gearbox housing, so that the old oil can be completely drained.
Place oil bucket: Place a clean oil bucket under the oil drain plug to collect the discharged old lubricating oil.
Unscrew the oil drain plug: Use a wrench to carefully unscrew the oil drain plug, allowing the old lubricating oil to slowly flow into the oil drum. Attention, there may be some hot oil splashing out during the oil discharge process, be careful to avoid burns.
Wait for the oil to drain: Allow the old oil to flow out completely until there are no more oil droplets. This may take some time, depending on the size and internal structure of the gearbox.
clean
Disassemble the oil filter: If the gearbox is equipped with an oil filter, remove it. Some oil filters may require special tools for disassembly, be careful not to damage the filter components.
Cleaning oil filter: Clean the oil filter with a clean cloth or specialized cleaning agent to remove impurities, oil stains, and metal shavings from it. Gasoline or other suitable solvents can be used for cleaning, but safety should be taken into account to avoid fire and poisoning hazards. After cleaning, dry it with a clean cloth or let it air dry naturally.
Wipe the interior of the gearbox: Use a clean cloth to wipe the housing and gears inside the gearbox through the oil drain or other suitable openings, removing any oil and impurities attached to them. Try to wipe it clean as much as possible, but be careful not to leave the cloth inside the gearbox.
come on
Install oil filter: Reinstall the cleaned oil filter back to its original position, ensuring a secure installation and good sealing.
Find the fuel port: Find the fuel port on the top or side of the gearbox, usually with a lid or plug.
Using a funnel and filter: Insert the funnel into the fuel inlet and place a filter on top of the funnel to prevent impurities from entering the gearbox.
Slowly add oil: Slowly pour new lubricating oil into the funnel and flow into the gearbox through the filter screen. Pay attention to the oil level and add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil according to the requirements of the gearbox. Generally speaking, the oil level should be maintained within the normal range indicated by the oil gauge.
Check the oil level: During the refueling process, regularly check the oil level to avoid refueling too much or too little. Stop refueling when the oil level reaches the appropriate position indicated on the oil gauge.
