How to choose gear reducer
1. Choose according to power supply
There are two types of power supply for the motor: single-phase and three-phase. Most single-phase power supplies are 220 volts, and in many cases, 12, 24, 36, 42 or 110 volts are used. In foreign countries, there are also 100 volts or 220 volts. Three-phase motors mostly use three-phase 380 volt power, but some use 36, 42 or 220 volt three-phase power. In terms of frequency, my country and some countries use 50 Hz, and some countries in the world such as Europe and the United States also use 60 Hz. Therefore, before use, you should first recognize the operating voltage of the motor (whether the rated voltage and frequency of the nameplate are consistent with the power supply. If the power supply voltage is too much higher or lower than the operating voltage of the motor, the motor will be burned. When providing the design, The allowable power supply voltage fluctuation of the motor ±5% does not affect the normal operation of the motor. In order to ensure that the motor can work normally, it does not change its performance. Slime dryer
2. Choose according to the starting situation of the motor
For a motor that starts frequently, that is, the starting frequency is 10-20 times/min, a larger capacity motor should be properly selected when selecting a motor. Because the starting current of the motor is relatively large, the corresponding input power is relatively large. Therefore, the selection of a larger power motor will make the load power smaller than the motor power, so the temperature rise of the motor will not be too high.
3. Choose according to the match with the load
When using a capacitor to run an asynchronous motor, its power should be roughly the same as the load power, and there should not be too much margin, because the loss of the capacitor running motor is relatively greater when it is at or near no load, so the temperature rise is also It is relatively high. If the motor is working in this condition for a long time, the temperature of the motor may exceed the allowable temperature rise, which will accelerate the aging of the motor's insulation, and may cause the motor to burn out in serious cases.
4. Choose according to the over torque of the load
In the case of frequent load over torque, it is not advisable to use single-phase electric limit start asynchronous motor and capacitor start asynchronous motor, because when the load torque is greater than the rated torque of the motor, the motor speed may be reduced to 75 %-80% synchronous speed or lower, the centrifugal switch of the motor may be closed again. If this happens more frequently or each time lasts longer, the starter winding will be put into work again. In the design, the starting winding of the motor is only used for a short time, and the current density is selected relatively high. If the working time is too long, the starting winding may be burned out, so only other types of motors can be used.
