Causes of excessive vibration of planetary reducer
Vibration will occur when the star reducer is installed, which is normal. But after using it for a long time, we will find that the stepping planetary reducer occasionally produces large vibrations, which may even affect the normal use of the planetary reducer. Let’s take a look at the causes of excessive vibration of planetary reducers with the editor of wgt. 1. The motor screws are loose. Similar to coupling failure, when the motor vibrates due to various reasons, the vibration will be transmitted to the reducer, resulting in increased vibration of the planetary reducer; 2. Shaft deformation and loss of balance. The strength and hardness of the shaft system are lower than the requirements, or they are aged due to long-term working. The deformation of the shaft will cause the planetary reducer to vibrate greatly; 3. The gear is damaged. Severe tooth surface corrosion, large gear meshing clearance, severe gear tooth surface wear, severe tooth surface wear, broken teeth, etc.
These gears may be due to excessive vibration of the planetary reducer and cannot work properly; 4. The coupling is damaged. When the coupling connected to the planetary reducer is damaged due to oil leakage, loose screws, etc., its vibration will be transmitted to the reducer, causing the reducer to vibrate abnormally; 5. The bearings are severely worn. 6. The anchor screws are loose. Because the reducer works for a long time, the anchor screws may become loose or the screws may be damaged. The planetary reducer may vibrate greatly and the working condition may be abnormal.
